Join us on a fantastic day out where we take a trip back in time and take a ride on a heritage steam train where you can admire the wonderful view of the beautiful Mendip Countryside, while enjoying a traditional three course Sunday Lunch on the Mendip Belle Dining Carrage.

To Start

Roasted Tomato, Mozzarella & Rocket Salad:

Brussels Pate with Bruschetta:

Brussels pate served with Bruschetta rustic italian bread

Prawn Cocktail:

Classic prawn cocktail served with homemade Marie Rose sauce & lemon.

 

Main Course

Beef en Daube:

Braised beef steak with pancetta in a red wine gravy.

Chicken, Ham & Mushroom Pie:

Individual hand-finished, butter enriched short crust pastry pie with chicken, ham & mushrooms:

Butternut Squash Tagine.

Roasted butternut squash and chickpeas with warm Moroccan spices:

Sweet Potato, Spinach & Goats Cheese Pie:

Deep filled pie with sweet potato & goats cheese in a creamy sauce

 

Dessert

Apple & Blackberry Crumble with and Custard:

Homemade apple & blackberry crumble served with custard.

Sticky Toffee Pudding:

Homemade sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream

Somerset Cheese Board & Crackers:

Three cheeses served with crackers and chuckney. Caved-aged Cheddar, Cricket-st-Thomas Brie & Stilton.
